Born and raised in Ponca City, the BC Clark jingle always signaled the beginning of the Christmas season for our family. We wouldn’t set the tree or drag out the decorations until the jingle signaled us to do so. This is a tradition that still lives on to this day. Even though I’m no longer an Oklahoma resident, on the Friday after Thanksgiving I will pull up the jingle on the Internet and play it 3 or 4 times and we will all sing along. Just seems to conjure up Christmas memories and puts us all in the holiday spirit.
