5 Generations of the Jingle

In 1956, I modeled children’s clothing downtown at John A. Brown’s and my grandmother worked at Kerr’s across the street. When I was done with my shift, my grandmother would pick me up and we would go to B.C. Clark’s downtown to shop. Mr. Clark Sr.  would greet us and would give me a shiny copper penny. He was friendly and spoke to all of his customers. My grandmother got us started in the collection of the Christmas plates and singing the jingle, it isn’t Christmas without the jingle. Now, five generations of us enjoy the BC Clark Jingle.
